The Airfix Club enables you to get first hand information on new Airfix Kits and keep up to date with all the latest Airfix news. The club package also contains a special edition kit that has never been released before.

The Airfix Club offers two packages;

1. Download version, which contains all the above except you will receive the quarterly magazine and catalogue via email for only £14.99
2. Postal version, which consists of all of the above except you will receive the quarterly club magazine and catalogue through the post for £22.99

For members outside of the UK, only the downloadable version is available at a cost of; Europe £18.99 and £20.99 for the Rest of the World.

Your welcome pack will be sent to you within 28 working days, however, any orders after the 02/12/07 we cannot gaurantee delivery before Christmas due to postal cut off.

More about the Airfix Club Package

The exclusive Airfix Club Kit is the Supermarine Spitfire MkXVIe kit in 1:48 scale. This kit has never been released before and is only available to Airfix Club members (whilst stocks last). The Kit contains two optional Decal schemes and three 14ml Humbrol Acylic paints.

The Airfix Club badge is a one off special badge that you receive in your first membership package. This high quality badge is a collectors piece that enables you to be recognised as an Airfix Club member. The Second badge is the annual Collectors Badge, this will change every year and be a representative of the annual club model, year one being The Supermarine Spitfire MkXVIe.

The Airfix Flying Hours Passport comes with two complimentary flying hours to start your collection. The Flying Hours scheme is only valid for club members. (see below for more details)

The Airfix Club Membership Card is your official proof of Club membership and can be used in conjunction with any special offers Airfix have running.

Also being a member of the Airfix Club you are entitled to various Club Discounts such as a 10% discount on Airfix Kits from selected retailers and discounts on annual modelling, and aviation publications.

Flying Hours Scheme

The Airfix Flying Hours scheme is only available for members of the Airfix Club. Passports are obtained in the Club starter pack and once the correct amount of tokens has been collected and sent to Hornby Hobbies Ltd, on receipt of the selected kit and a new passport will be sent to you. However, the passport can only be used with valid club membership and the details must be filled out correctly on the reverse of the passport.

Flying Hours can be found on all Airfix kits and the amount of flying hours varies, depending on the series of kit (kit series number can be defined by the first two digits, for example 02005 is a series 2 and 12002 is a series 12). With 10 flying hours you can claim a series 1 or 2 kit, 20 hours a series 3 or 4 and 30 hours a series 5 or 6.

A maximum of 30 flying hours can ever be exchanged at one time and can only be used on Airfix Kits ranging from series 1 to 6 and does not include Gift or Themed sets containing paints. We also recommend that you list at least three alternative kits. This offer is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute alternatives if necessary. No flying hours tokens will be returned.

Accompanying the passport should be a cheque or postal order of £1.50 per kit for postage and packing, made payable to Hornby Hobbies Ltd. Please ensure that you have clearly written your; name, membership number, address and post code on the front of the passport and then please send to; Hornby Hobbies Limited, Margate, Kent, CT9 4JX, UK.

Please note that if your first kit chosen is out of stock we will select your second choice. If you have selected new products which are not yet in stock we will hold your passport until the kits are available.
