I have modified the design and removed the 6" and 4.7" guns and given it 16 x 5.25s, concentrated in the aft section.

Guns 9 x 16", 16 x 5.25" DP, 60 x 40mm bofors, 18 x 20mm.

The G3 was an interesting ship that never sailed, although some of its features were incorporated in HMS Nelson/Rodney.

You can do a lot with Airfix 1/600 kits, I wish there were more of them available.

That's a great build, and congratulation on doing this little know subject, even if it is a bit "what-if" the design did actully exsist, but as Kenneth mentioned it was scuttled by the Washington Treaty.

Love seeing your other convertions, I've not commented on them all, but they're all superb and just goes to show what can be achieved with these old and sometimes dodgy kits; well done, especially the County Class cruiser, it looks superb. Keep them coming.
